This one is definitely a survivor. and probably the cheapest horse anyone has ever bought: i payed a whole dollar (!) at a yard sale for this timeless beauty. he came with (or should i rather say without?:) original chips & missing body parts (caused by either time or previous owner) Poor thing looked like he could use a little make-over. So i dropped some blood stain on his wounds, airbrushed sky blue his outfit, added a bit of gold on his hoofs, stamped a "welcome back" sign on the saddle & gave this baby a new name: Pegasus (oh! of course, forgot to mention his wing-transplants:)

They say "every day women play psychiatrists for each other". I don't know about yourself but my friend Sonya from Pascalli Foods (www.pascallifoods.com/blog) & I can't get enough of this truly therapeutic pastime. I know these "sessions" will take us to a happier place very soon. Thank you, Sonya!
Inspired by the power of Friendship i ve been making these little funny things lately (see pics). Cole says i am obsessed with these vintage images of surfer dudes on the rescue circa 1940. He may be right & i m not gonna rest until the last picture is cut out of the American Red Cross "Life Saving & Water Safety" book. By the way, Cole, you were right: underwater photography was done at Silver Springs, Florida.
thematic magnets are coming soon:)

This collage sprang out of me & out of nowhere & was assembled in about 15 minutes. It was kind of scary: scissors flying, pages ripping themselves out of fancy magazines, odds, ends, knots, bolts..End result is this collage - epithomy of materialism - golden cage of womanhood - a basket full of designer brands. Can it make us happy? They say "Diamonds are girl's best friend" Well, some of us live up to this "mantra" while others laugh at it as at something ultimately senseless. Honestly, i am somewhere in the middle of this road now. Where are you?

Rise&Shine!

baby step # 1: secure a blog spot.
baby step # 2: struggle through customizing process & doubt yourself.
baby step # 3: keep doing it!
Dear Friends!
Yesterday keeping a blog was a less travelled road. Today i am determined to stick to it. Hopefully it is worth following for both of us Tomorrow.
Please, stay tuned.
